Privacy Policy

Furplexity is operated by Spectra Enterprise Network, a sole proprietorship based in Visakhapatnam, India ("Furplexity", "we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Furplexity, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

1. What we collect

We collect the following, and nothing beyond what's needed to run the service:

• Your email address — used solely to sign you in via a passwordless magic-link email, and to identify your saved plan.
• Pet and financial planning data you enter — your pet's name, species, breed, age, city, and every cost figure you enter or edit across the app (setup costs, monthly expenses, annual care, emergency fund target, senior living fund inputs, and your lifetime-corpus assumptions). This is saved so your plan persists across sessions.
• Messages you send to the in-app assistant, if you use it — sent to Anthropic (the provider of the underlying AI model) to generate a response. Assistant conversations do not currently include your saved plan data.

We do not collect payment information, as Furplexity does not currently process any payments.

2. How we use it

Your data is used only to operate Furplexity: authenticating you, saving and displaying your plan, generating your printable report, and responding to assistant questions. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who processes it

We rely on the following third-party infrastructure providers, each processing data only as needed to provide their service to us:

• Supabase — handles authentication and stores your account and plan data in a database, protected by row-level security so only you can access your own data.
• Vercel — hosts the Furplexity application itself.
• Anthropic — processes messages you send to the in-app assistant, if used.

4. Data retention

We retain your account and plan data for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 8) — we will act on such requests within a reasonable time.

5. Cookies

Furplexity uses only strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and database-level access controls that restrict each user to their own data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

Furplexity is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under the age of 18.

8. Your rights and grievance contact

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. For any privacy question, request, or grievance, contact our Grievance Officer:

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as Furplexity evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of Furplexity after changes means you accept the updated policy.
